International Journal of Communication and Society is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. The journal invites practitioners and scholars worldwide to exchange and disseminate theoretical and practice-oriented advances in communication and society within the whole spectrum of communication studies and societal dynamics. The scope includes, but is not limited to, topics such as: New Media; Political Communication; Public Relations; Culture and Social Interaction; Media Literacy and Media Education; Media and Tourism; Media and Development; Media, Popular Culture, and Society; Media and Religion; Media and Identity; Politics, Hegemony, and the Media; and Information Communication Technology. Submitted papers must be written in English and meet the minimum requirements for the initial review stage by editors, followed by a further review process by at least three reviewers.

Call For Papers Vol 7 No 2 December 2025

 

The International Journal of Communication and Society (IJCS) is an international journal to provide an international forum for the sharing, dissemination and discussion of research, experience and perspectives across a wide range of communication science, old and new media, political communication, semiotic, public relations, public opinion, culture and social interaction in communication science or situated at the convergence of two or more disciplines. It is a semi annual journal, published in June and December. Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template IJCS Template
